A quote must be exact before payment.

This English page describes the closed-gate checkout contract. It is not a payable offer. A live server quote and the payment provider’s authenticated result are the only source of truth for a transaction.

1. Current checkout state

Checkout, payment capture, balance issuance, and public paid access remain controlled by separate launch gates. No amount on this page can be paid. Do not send payment-card data, passwords, API keys, or provider credentials to AddBrains support.

2. Closed-gate reference quote

The following quote demonstrates the required EUR calculation for a Bulgarian consumer example. It uses a dated server FX snapshot of 1 USD = EUR 0.900000; a live quote uses its own fresh snapshot and expires after the stated period.

ComponentAmountTreatment
USD-denominated service entitlementUSD 25.00 → EUR 22.50Account-bound, noncash service entitlement
Flat AddBrains service fee (6%)USD 1.50 → EUR 1.35Charged once at top-up; not added per request
Pre-tax subtotalEUR 23.85FX-converted subtotal
VAT (20%, Bulgarian consumer example)EUR 4.77VAT added under the example tax rule
Gross all-in amount dueEUR 28.62Example action label: Pay EUR 28.62 now

The tax rate, tax treatment, customer classification, billing country, FX version, and charge total are captured in the immutable quote. The server fails closed if an approved tax or fresh FX input is missing.

3. Information shown before confirmation

  • the amount of USD-denominated service entitlement and its account-bound, noncash nature;
  • the separate flat 6% AddBrains service fee;
  • every applicable tax or VAT component and whether it is included or added;
  • the actual charge currency, exact cents, FX source/version and quote expiry where conversion applies;
  • the one gross all-in total, with no hidden mandatory charge or payment-method surcharge;
  • the Terms and Refund Policy versions bound to the quote;
  • the service’s API-only, 39 text-model, Cheaper-upstream, OpenRouter-reference-rate and no-media scope; and
  • the customer classification and any eligibility or limits that affect the order.

5. Payment action

The final control must state clearly that selecting it creates an obligation to pay, for example Pay EUR 28.62 now. A button labelled “Continue”, “Submit”, or “Place order” alone is not sufficient for the payment obligation. The browser return page cannot issue entitlement; only an authenticated server-side confirmation can do so.

6. Customer classification

Customers are treated as consumers unless server-side verification establishes a business classification. A self-selected business label does not remove mandatory consumer rights. The checkout applies the customer’s billing country and approved tax rule; it does not rely on an unsupported declaration.

7. Quote records and expiry

A quote is an immutable snapshot with a unique identifier, policy versions and hashes, tax and FX evidence, exact totals, customer classification, and an expiry time. The order and durable confirmation repeat this evidence. An expired, reused, or conflicting quote is rejected and must be replaced, not silently edited.

For refunds, withdrawal, immediate performance, failed fulfilment, duplicate payments, partial use, chargebacks, and provider uncertainty, see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
